Expanding Our Reach: New Alberta Delivery Schedule Starting June 8th

At Grand Dog Essentials, we are committed to providing reliable, local pet food delivery across Alberta. To better serve our growing community and improve our logistics, we are excited to announce an update to our weekly delivery schedule effective June 8th.

What Is Staying the Same?

Before we dive into the schedule shifts, we want to reassure our Grand Dog Pack that the core of our service remains unchanged:

• No changes to our delivery pricing.

• No changes to our order cut-off day (every Monday at noon for delivery the same week).

• No changes to our overall service areas (only some new additions!).

Why the Change?

This shift allows us to streamline our Alberta routes and expand further into Southern Alberta. By optimizing our logistics and minimizing total kilometers driven, we are significantly reducing our carbon footprint.

This allows us to serve Alberta more sustainably while proactively managing rising costs to ensure we continue providing the best possible value to our customers.

Schedule Changes: Who is Moving?

If your city or area is not listed below, your delivery day remains the same.

For a complete, town-by-town breakdown of the new schedule, please see the "Weekly Delivery Schedule" section at the bottom of this post.

Greater Edmonton Area

• Moving to Tuesday: Camrose, City of Leduc, Nisku (previously Friday).

• Moving to Thursday: Ardrossan, Beaumont, Fort Saskatchewan, Leduc County, Sherwood Park, and Strathcona County (previously Friday).

Calgary & Surrounding Areas

• Moving to Thursday: Some Calgary NW addresses (previously Tuesday).

• Moving to Friday: Most Calgary NE and SE addresses, Aldersyde, Chestermere, De Winton, Irricana, Langdon, Okotoks, and Rocky View County east of Calgary (all previously Thursday).

• FRIDAY: Bon Accord, Devon, Gibbons, Lamont, Morinville, Parkland County, Redwater, Spruce Grove, St. Albert, Stony Plain, Sturgeon County

NOTE ABOUT MONTHLY DELIVERY ZONES: Our Wednesday monthly delivery zones (Zone 1 and Zone 2 Northern Alberta) will remain on their existing rotation: 

Zone 1: The first Wednesday of the month

Zone 2: The second Wednesday of the month
