  • Produced and distributed by Four Roots Pet Products in Alberta
  • Includes tripe which is a great source of nutrients, probiotics, digestive enzymes, and a balanced ratio of calcium and phosphorus for strong bone and muscle health.
  • Tripe can be fed to dogs with food sensitivities or allergies.  Reactions to tripe are usually zero to low compared to reactions to beef meat.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We want to reassure you: our recipe has not changed, and we never add water, fillers, or artificial juices to our food.

Whenever a recipe change does occur, transparency is our priority. We always inform our community through our newsletter, update the product description, and include a date stamp on the product page showing when the ingredient list was last updated.

Because we work with whole, fresh meat, natural moisture levels can vary slightly from batch to batch depending on the specific cuts. The liquid you are seeing is the natural juice (often called 'purge') that releases during the freezing and thawing process. It’s completely normal, safe, and packed with natural nutrients for your pet!

All 4 of my pets love it, packaging tricky

The plus side is that all 4 of my pets (2 cats & 2dogs) love this and can eat it!
The downsides that keeps it from being 5 stars for me is the packaging & the price going up. The packaging is a pain, as it's too hard to cut open whole frozen, but if it thaws too much it's a mushy mess trying to get it into bowls. I've worked out a decent time frame to thaw it but if I miss that window it's a hassle! Good the other point, I find it hard to feed my pets raw on my budget but try to add raw as much as I can. The subscribe & save that used to be on it was very helpful!

We hear you about the packaging. We have dreams to change it at some point, but doing so would mean investment in new machinery which is not possible right now for our small production facility. One of the benefits of the packaging is that it helps prevent freezer burn and extends the life of the products in your freezer so there is no money wasted! One trick I like to share with people is taking the tubes out of the freezer and leaving it on the counter for 5-10 minutes. Then run it under warm water for a couple seconds. Then run a serrated knife down the middle and length creating a slit in the packaging so it's removed easily and with no mess! I take out 4 tubes at a time and store the unpackaged food in a container for the next few days to feed to my pups.

Love the food from here snd the cheap delivery is a plus. Unfortunately i found out one of my dogs is allergic to chicken so i have to order the pork now but im sure itll be the same amazing quality

Delivered on time, packaged well, each portion is well packaged too. Consistent, high quality food for my dogs. They love it and I love that their coats are glossy and they have great energy and better muscle definition. Bonus is that their stool volume is down from less energy dense diets.

My one pups impossible yeast issues cleared up in days. No more paw licking. No more weepy eyes., and no more constant ear issues.
Energy is so much better. Both pups have way more energy and seem much happier. Their fur I feels so much softer.
